About Us.
Welcome! Friends of West Seattle Elementary, also known as FOWSE, is our school’s parent/teacher organization (PTO). We are a group of parents, teachers, administrators and community members. We collaborate to foster opportunities for parent involvement and leadership. We plan and implement extracurricular events that encourage a love of learning and sense of inclusion in our wonderfully diverse school. We fund-raise in order to enrich academic opportunities for our students (e.g. additional field trips). We are an active and essential component of our school community at West Seattle Elementary.
